This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, credits, and refunds are handled for coaching sessions, packages, workshops, and related services offered by Aquinas Life Coaching. By booking or purchasing a service through the website or by direct arrangement, you agree to this Refund Policy, subject always to any rights you may have under applicable South African law.

1. General Refund Position

Because coaching services involve reserved time, preparation, and limited availability, refunds are not automatically available for every booking. Refund requests will be considered in accordance with this policy, the specific terms of any package or programme, and any non-excludable rights that apply under law.

2. Single Sessions

If you cancel or reschedule a single coaching session with at least 24 hours’ notice, you may choose either a full credit toward a rescheduled session or, if no service has yet been provided, a refund less any non-recoverable third-party transaction fees where permitted by law. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, or fail to attend a scheduled session without notice, the session fee may be forfeited in full.

3. Coaching Packages and Programmes

Where you purchase a package, programme, or multi-session arrangement, any refund will generally be limited to the unused portion of the service, less the value of sessions already delivered, any non-refundable deposit disclosed at the time of booking, and any reasonable administrative or third-party costs where permitted by law. If package pricing was discounted on the basis of a minimum commitment, we may calculate any partial refund by applying the standard single-session rate to sessions already used before determining any balance due.

4. Workshops, Group Sessions, and Digital Resources

Refunds for workshops, group coaching, or downloadable resources will depend on the nature of the offering and what was stated at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, no refund will be due once a live workshop has been attended in part or in full, or once digital materials, recordings, or downloads have been accessed or made available, except where required by law.

5. Provider Cancellations

If Aquinas Life Coaching needs to cancel a session or is unable to provide a booked service, you will be offered a reasonable opportunity to reschedule or, where rescheduling is not suitable, a full refund of the amount paid for the affected service.

6. Statutory Cooling-Off and Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable South African consumer or electronic transactions law. In particular, where a transaction qualifies for a statutory cooling-off period or cancellation right, those rights will apply to the extent required by law. This may include rights relating to certain electronically concluded transactions and certain transactions resulting from direct marketing, subject to the applicable legal requirements and exceptions.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, cancellation, or rescheduling, please contact Aquinas Life Coaching in writing at info@aquinas.co.za as soon as possible and include your full name, contact details, the service booked, the scheduled date if applicable, and the reason for the request. We may ask for additional information reasonably necessary to verify the booking and process the request.

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be processed back to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days, subject to banking delays, payment platform processing times, and any verification steps that may be reasonably required. If a refund cannot be returned to the original payment method, we will arrange an alternative method where appropriate.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version published on the website will apply from its stated effective date, provided that no update will affect a booking already confirmed except to the extent permitted by law.
